1. How do I calculate the total cost of my stay?
You have to go to the description of the apartement by clicking on “more info”, there you will find the corresponding fees for monthly, weekly and daily stays. E.g.; if you take the apartment for a period of ten days, you will have to calculate the price of one week stay plus 3 daily stays (3 times the fee for 1 day); this way you will obtain the cost of your stay.
You can also use the online calculator available in our web site, which will do the work for you.
In case you take the apartment with an early or late check in (between 9pm and 7am), you will have an extra charge of U$D15.-


2. How do I have to pay?
A deposit of the 20% out of the total of the stay is payable at the time of booking the apartment. Full payment to be paid at the moment of taking the apartment along with U$D25 in account of administrative expenses plus returnable breakages deposit.

3. What is a returnable breakages deposit?
This is an amount of money given as a deposit aimed to protect the goods (detailed in an inventory) and integrity of the apartment. Returnable at the moment of leaving the apartment, only in case it is found by us in good shape, same one as given to the user. In case of breakages, the cost of the repair or replacement will be deducted from said deposit..

3.1 What do I have to do if I break something?
Please, get in touch with Castillo Argentina as soon as posible in order to see the way of repairing, changing the broken thing and set the cost of it.-

4. What do “administrative expensives” mean?
It is a “one time” fee of U$D25 corresponding to agency expenses.

5. Which are the expenses included in the rent?
All rents include: building expenses (doorman, common areas maintainance, etc); taxes, water, electricity, gas and (when descripted) cable TV, Internet and cleaning lady.

6. Which are the accepted ways of payment?
Payments can only be made in cash; United States currency (U$D), and only when specified; Argentinian currency (AR$) or Euros (EUR).

7. How do I book an apartment?
You have to fill in the form that appears at the description page of each apartment; after doing this, you will receive an e-mail from us with all different ways of payment and steps to follow in order to confirm the booking.

8. In case of cancelling the booking, do I get my money back?
If the cancelation is performed by the host. the 20% advanced payment won’t be returned.
If the cancelation is due to reasons external to the host, Castillo Argentina will make an offer of different options; and finally, if the customer is not pleased with them, the whole amount recieved as booking deposit will be returned.

9. When am I informed of the address and telephone number of the unit being rented?
This information is given once the 20% deposit is performed.

10. Where do I have to go when arrive to Buenos Aires?
At the moment of your arrival you have to go to the rented apartment where you will be awaited by someone from Castillo Argentina staff, in some occasions will also be present the owner of the apartment.
There you will receive:

  • The keys of the apartment
  • They will show you the apartment
  • You will receive instructions about the use of the apartment amenities.
  • You will also receive information of the neighbourhood, near attractions and useful shops, etc.-
  • The rent will be cancelled at that moment with Castillo’s staff.
  • At what time can I take the apartment (check in)?

You can make the check in any day, 24/7.- You should only have in mind that the check in between 9pm and 7am has an extra fee of U$D15

11. which is the check out time?
The check out is at 10 am of the last day of your stay.


12. To Whom do I turn to in case of needing help or having any inconvenient at the apartment?
At the moment of the check in you will receive all useful numbers for you to be assisted 24/7.-

Does Castillo give transfer from the airport to the apartment?
We count with a Transfer’s company in charge of taking you to the apartment. They get in touch with the Agency as soon as they get in touch with the passenger. You have to book this service when renting the apartment in order to arrange date, flight information, airline and time of arrival.
